Born In The 90z is the first single released off his debut project entitled RocketPowerLove. RocketPowerLove is a fruitful coming-ofage soundtrack about what independence means for an African artist. The project is a fourteen-track EP highlighting the introspective emotional, spiritual and mental toil one endures before and after signing a record deal. His body of work reflects a musical pilgrimage through contrasting landscapes in Durban to Cape Town and finally, Johannesburg.

It is more than the story of the Hip-Hop artist on the journey to becoming an allround musician. It is the story of an entrepreneur, university graduate, professional model, actor and idea generator.

Milestones include opening for international act Casey Veggies (Los Angeles) alongside Youngsta CPT in 2015. Locally, Ngola has opened for household names in South African music such as Crazy White Boy, Zaki Ibrahim, Euphonik, to most notably Stogie T. As an actor, Kuthula has already made major appearances in local television, currently as “Malibongwe” in the popular drama Is’thunzi on Mzansi Magic. In 2017, Ngola is a member of the J&B Hive in Braamfontein, creating platforms such as 2SIXteenZ & TheHipHopMarket for African creatives and young people to showcase and experience alternative spaces in South African popular culture. It is a mission critical to his company’s vision and a life’s work better known as LOFW: Leaders of the Future World.
