The 5-star Turbine Boutique Hotel and Spa in Knysna is offering a new and tantalising Special on its Sunday Lunches at the Gastro Pub and Island Café.
The boutique hotel, situated on Thesen Islands in the charming seaside town of Knysna, is built in a converted heritage power station. Now funky and modern, the historical old building that once supplied the electricity needs of Knysna and the surrounding areas, has been skillfully and sensitively preserved – historic touches are plentiful, with old turbines and pipes forming an integral part of the décor.
As from Sunday 5 March, treat yourself and your family to a traditional Sunday Roast (with a Turbine twist) at the Gastro Pub – a main course lunch for only R90 per adult and at the Island Café, with tables overlooking the canals, pool deck or nestled between the original refurbished turbines, you can enjoy a 3-course meal with a choice of roast (Beef or Chicken), served with maple & cinnamon pumpkin, creamed spinach and roast potatoes and to round off the meal, a choice of delectable desserts – a chocolate and caramel Swiss roll with ice cream or Vanilla Panacotta or Dutch Apple Bake with ice cream. All for only R150 per adult and R75 for children under 12.
Both offers are available every Sunday from 12h00 – 16h00.
